This information is out of date, please see the reply to this post as the community bedrock proxy has been discontinued.
Hey all!

If you haven't before there has been some changes that caused the original community geyser instance to stop working and I have since taken over the project.
The original instance was started by @CompaqDisc [here].

My instance located at 134.195.14.38 will be discontinued on Oct 20th, 2022. Change the IP to 155.138.155.66 to avoid downtime.

The process remains the same. However, the IP of the instance has changed.

If you are unable to add custom servers, you must change your DNS in Internet Settings on your console to the following:

  • DNS 1: 155.138.155.66
  • DNS 2: 1.1.1.1
This will allow you to use a custom server list functionality provided by the project, Bedrock Connect. You can also add and remove other bedrock servers per player if you desire.

If you can create a server, you can use the following details to connect to the Eternal Realms Geyser Instance.

  • Server Address:
    relay.kashall.dev
  • Server Port: 4142
  • Display Name: Eternal Realms
Feel free to contact me about issues regarding this instance on Eternal Realms' Discord or Start A Conversation With Me.

It's been a great run for the community bedrock proxy, we've had over 3,000 connections since I started managing the community proxy. Unfortunately, I no longer can maintain the proxy to the standards I should be holding myself to with the time and financial support I currently have.

In good faith, all services pertaining to the features required to run the proxy have been discontinued and are no longer available. All required data for the function of these services has been wiped. I do not have any copies of this data at all.

If you were using the DNS servers provided by me, you will need to change the dns settings back to automatic as your device will not connect to the internet without it.

If you relied on this service and still need to use it in order for your bedrock-only devices to join java servers, you may look into the official instances provided by the maintainers of BedrockConnect and GeyserMC. You do not have to pay to use these services, if you have to pay they are not the right service.

Proof I have done as I said and wiped the entire server clean:

Thank you everyone for your support in the last couple of years, I appreciate all of it!
