So, the staff and I have been seriously thinking about Towny. We have tons of requests about Towny and bringing it back. I realize Precious Stones isn't the best plugin, but I know SOME people like it, haha. So, we've decided to do a poll on the subject.

As you may have noticed, we've been adding TONS of stuff to ER this month. Here's a few things that we've added.

Spleef: Yes, we've finally added spleef. The spleef arena is located next to the market in the back of spawn. You go up, and right click the sign. That will put you in the next game. We will be updating it every so often to make it better and better. 

Parkour: Parkour has also finally been added. Right now, we have 2 courses. Checkpoints will be coming on within the next week, we're working on the plugin right now. We will also be adding more and more arenas. I'd say about 5 more before June. The parkour arena is located behind the build portal. Walk down the stairs and begin!

Hardcore PVP Arena: The hardcore PVP arena is located UNDER the regular PVP Arena. In the Hardcore arena, you're allowed to fly. We will be adding more to it eventually. 

PS: I've also been adding more pixel art all over the spawn :p

And welcome to a era of Eternal Realms as we migrate into the 1.5 update a few new things are changing..

RedProtect has been completely removed from the server and we have implemented the system known as PreciousStones which I am sure by now
many of you are familiar with it.

We have also noticed a bit of lag on the servers caused by map errors caused by chunk loading and erroring which we felt was prudent to fix during this update.

In order to do that however we had to whipe our map and implement new safe guards to prevent this from happening in the future.

Our spawn will still be the same and you will not loose any ranks or permissions on the server its just a clean slate for a clean update!

Hello everyone, today we are making a big jump in our protection systems and making the transition
from RedProtect to PreciousStones.

What does this entail? This mean we implementing a new protection plugin and you will have a week
to move over to PreciousStones from RedProtect.

So obviously there will be some changes to the way it works.. First off instead of using fences as circuits to create protections.
You will be using blocks to make a cuboid protected area which you will be able to purchase in our shop.

You have 7 days to make the transition!

There will be a guide on how to use PreciousStones soon.

As you may have noticed we are bringing down the PVP server and converging it into the main server.. What does this mean? That means we are taking the player data for your ranks and moving them to the main server.

We will be implementing more PVP designated areas into Main to make up for the loss of the server.

When is this happening? Well if you are reading this it is already happening or it is done already.

Why are you doing this? Well we have been heavily considering our options and thinking of ways to avoid shutting it down but none seem prudent enough to justify not doing it.
The pvp server in general is not beneficial for Eternal Realms to keep online, right now, we're working on something MUCH better. I'm sure all of you will love it. It's going to be kept secret for now, until we're almost ready to release it.

On the plus side if you are banned on Main you'll be happy to know we are unbanning everyone on the main server and giving them a second chance.

The staff of the PVP server and I decided on wiping the map. Before you freak out, ALL mcMMO stats, money, inventories WILL BE SAVED. 

The map has been around for around 7 months now, most of it is all griefed. Nothing will change except for the map. 

I suggest you grab all of your important items from chests, and place them in your inventory so you have them in the next world. 

The NEW PVP map will have a new spawn, and a WAY better market. We're also adding a PVP arena later in the week. 

We will also be adding another server this week!

As some of you already know, we have been having issues with our Towny server.  At the server had a faulty hard disk drive, which we replaced with a new Solid State Drive.  When this happened the worlds became very corrupted, and try as we might we could not fix the issue, all of our Towny backups were stored on the Hard Disk Drive, rather than offsite, which are backups are now stored offsite.  As a result of this, we no longer have a towny spawn/market/player-data. Users were being removed from towny files, I saw this myself at one point on Towny.  We are wiping the map and it will NOT be managed by ANY staff, forums, or anything, it will just be purely for fun. IT WILL STILL BE TOWNY PLEASE DO NOT ASK STAFF TO HELP ON THE TOWNY SERVER.  

PLEASE NOTE:
If you want to play on a managed server, you may carry your rank over to the main server, however you may NOT keep your rank on Towny AND main. Please message insigniajoe via enjin if you have questions, or want to transfer your rank from Towny to Main.


Note: When Towny dies down, and all the ranks are transferred, we'll be opening a SKYBLOCK SERVER!

Today, we've decided to change our hub system. We were tired of the lag/crashing etc, so we finally moved. There are a few changes to the way things work. 

1. To switch from server to server, type /server (name of server). 
Example: /server main 

2. The player tab list is back to normal.

3. The Towny server SHOULD stop disconnecting, let us know if there's any problems. 

You guys should see a dramatic INCREASE in performance on ER.
